    Welcome to Music! I have been teaching General Music & Chorus at Sheafe Road since 2003. I am also very proud to be the Co-Director of Drama Club. I grew up across the river in Kingston where I was always involved in music and theater activities. I did my undergraduate studies at the College of Saint Rose in Albany where I was a voice major. I received my Masters degree from Western Connecticut State University in Danbury.

    In my spare time, I still enjoy performing as well as baking, reading, spending time with family and friends, and of course rooting for the greatest sports team to ever exist – The New York Yankees!

     

    This year, we will be learning about many different styles of music, and composers, all while building the skills we need to be better musicians.  We will also be studying music from different cultures.  All lessons follow the National Core Arts Standards, NYS Standards for the Arts and the WCSD Curriculum Performance Outcomes. I am looking forward to another wonderful year!
