Kids Heart Challenge 2025
Gayhead is participating in our 34th year of the American Heart Association life-saving mission and fundraiser. Our Grizzlies know how to keep their hearts healthy. Our reluctant Kindergartners go from learning to spin the rope and jump over it and progress to 6th graders who attempt and/or master up to 25 different jump rope tricks. During this time, the Gayhead community has raised over $780,000 to support the research and education that all heart patients benefit from, possibly even a family member. Additionally, our 3rd through 6th graders learn Hands-only CPR! Please join us this year! Thank you in advance for your support!
Tuesday, Feb. 18th: KHC POSTERS ARE DUE for 3rd through 6th graders. On the back of the poster please label: Student’s 1st and last name, Grade, and Room #. Draw something that shows how to take care of your heart. Prizes for the top posters in each grade. (K-2 will draw their posters in class.)
Friday, Feb. 28th: all donations must be submitted online or returned in your KHC envelope to your PE teacher. Deadline for all Gayhead contests.
