    If you have any concerns or questions, you can reach out to your counselor via email. If you need to speak with one of us, please make that request via email and we'll set that up during regular school hours.  We recommend that you email your classroom teacher if you have a question regarding a specific class assignment or specific class question.

    A major key to success is time management and discipline. Here are some tips:

    • Create a study space
    • Stick to one task at a time

    • Get rid of distractions
    • Create a calendar to keep track of assignments
    • Communicate with teachers and counselors

    About the Counselors
    Professional Qualifications:
    All permanently certified professional school counselors must possess a Master's degree and meet other certification requirements as defined by the New York State Education Department.  Junior high school counselors have training and experience in understanding the developmental needs of eleven to fifteen-year-olds and are competent in counseling, consulting, and coordinating.
