Welcome Class of 2028!  

I am looking forward to success this year! My Office is upstairs in Room 223 along with Mrs. Jakuba.  We are here to answer your questions and be a resource to you at John Jay.  In addition, we are right across the hall from our awesome school counseling team, Ms. Rivera and Mrs. Martinez-Rivera.  

Being involved with school is a benefit to you for many reasons. Creating bonds with other students will provide lasting memories that you will reflect on for years.  Relationships with teachers and advisors can broaden and enrich your own outlook and perspective.  Leadership opportunities abound.  The skills you try and master in high school in extracurricular activities will benefit you for years to come. I was very involved in my high school band and I use that experience more often than you might think!  

The best way to be connected is to read and listen to our daily announcements and monitor the Class of 2028 Google Classroom.  Many opportunities will come through these communication tools. (Club Announcements, School Activities, and Volunteer Opportunities to name a few).
