In our classes we will not only learn about nouns and verbs and such, but we also pick up many tidbits of authentic Italian culture- from a very "authentic" source - Signora!

     I spent the first six years of my life in a small town in southern Italy before beginning the new adventure called l'America.... but I also returned several times to my native land- as a teenager I attended high school in Teggiano- and later as a young bride, I lived there again and started my family, so I have experienced the language and the culture fully - at different stages of life--- and I must say it was pretty "cool"! That is why I am always happy to share those experiences and that knowledge with the young people in my classes.

     We will not only talk about the food, the art and the fashion of  Italy, but also about its music and film production, its vast and interesting literature and even the current fads and problems that exist in the vibrant and dynamic country known as "the boot". As you progress through the various levels you will continue to enrich your knowledge and appreciation of all that is  interesting and unique about " il bel paese"  and I hope you will come to agree with that assessment!
