Mr. Joseph Glauda

I have been teaching at Van Wyck Jr. High School since 2003. I am excited about starting the upcoming school year and look forward to working with students and parents. I am certified as a K-12 special education teacher, Associate of Orton-Gillingham Academy A/OGA, and a Level II Wilson Reading Instructor. I have taught all middle level subjects from sixth through eighth grade.  I always look for opportunities to get professional development to continue to improve my skills in the classroom. We are fortunate to live in such a beautiful area with many things to do. When I am not teaching, I enjoy being outdoors either hiking, biking, running, or swimming. My son was born in 2016, and my daughter was born in 2018.
