 Mr. VanDeCarr is a graduate of Springfield College with a Bachelor in Health, Southern Connecticut State University with a Masters in Secondary Education / Health, and Manhattan College with an advance diploma in School Building Leadership. He comes from Mount Vernon City School District with eleven years as a middle school teacher and five years as a teacher leader. Mr. VanDeCarr is a graduate of Van Wyck Junior High School. He currently lives in Wappingers with his wife and two children. He enjoys spending time running, biking, gardening and hiking with his family. He is excited to be back at Van Wyck a school that gave him so much and looks forward to working with all the students and staff.
