Biography
Mr. Siena is a graduate of SUNY Cortland with a Bachelor in History, SUNY New Paltz with a Masters in Secondary Education / Social Studies, and holds certifications as both a School Building Leader and School District Leader from Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts.
He began his career at Van Wyck Junior High School in 2001 teaching 7th and 8th grade Social Studies before becoming the Teacher in Charge of the Social Studies Department several years later. In 2009, he became the Assistant Principal and has enjoyed helping students grow academically and socially while helping them realize their potential as responsible members of their school community.
As both a graduate and resident of the Wappingers Central School District, it is his honor and privilege to serve the students, faculty, and parents of this great community and to work for a school that was re-designated as a New York State Essential Elements: School to Watch.
