Background

The original Shared Decision Making Plan, which was approved by the Board of Education in 2011, focused on project-based funding.   The District Shared Decision Making Committee met during 2018 to revise the plan to focus on improving the educational performance of all students regardless of such factors as socioeconomic status, race, sex, language background or disability, as required by Commissioner's Regulations Part 100.11.

A new district team is being created to review and update the plan.  The district team will also review the school submissions from 2018-2019 school year.

On the evening of November 5, 2018, the Board of Education of the Wappingers Central School District approved the 2018-2020 School Based Planning and Shared Decision Making Plan.  

Biennial Review

On Wednesday, March 24, 2021, the District Shared Decision Making Committee met to review the building-level plans submitted over the past two years and make recommendations for revisions to the plan based on achievement of goals.
