    Our mission for this website is to provide you with important current and useful information. At Wappingers Central School District, we are dedicated to providing a school environment that promotes a safe and healthy place for everyone in the WCSD community.

    One of the many facets of the WCSD Health & Safety program is our Safety Committee. The Safety Committee meets every 6 to 8 weeks to evaluate ALL aspects of school life that relate to safety. Whether the concern is air quality, construction safety, playground safety, or preparing for a flu epidemic -- having a committee of teachers, parents, custodians and other staff take a comprehensive look at these issues together has been very beneficial.
     
     Safety
