Hello!  Welcome to AIS!  I'm very excited to be part of the AIS team this year.  I have been at Myers for 18 years!  I taught first, third and fifth grade.  I enjoyed all the grade levels I taught, however there was something very special about teaching children to read in first grade.  This experience inspired me to pursue this position as a reading intervention teacher.  I'm eager to take on this new role!   

I grew up here in Dutchess County, and went through the Wappingers School System.  Now, my own two children Matthew, 13 and Claire, 10 are doing the same.   I also have a dog, named Molly.  She is a mini goldendoodle, and is an absolute sweetheart!    I love spending time with my family and watching my children play sports.  Matthew plays football, basketball, baseball, and soccer.  Claire plays soccer and lacrosse.  We enjoy our busy life traveling from field to field!  I also love the beach and being outdoors.  I'm excited to learn more about your little one too!  

Guiding children to learn to read is a truly memorable and rewarding experience.  I cannot wait to be a part of that experience with your child!
