    Welcome to ENL class with Ms. G! I am so excited to work with your child during this 2024-2025 school year!  Growing up as a child of immigrant parents, I was always acutely aware of language and the meaningful connections it can foster. I consider myself lucky to have been born in Queens, N.Y.; a melting pot of culture, ethnicities, and languages; a product of the public school system. I understand and am empathetic to the struggles many children face when adapting to a new environment. It is my mission, as an educator, to make families feel supported and empowered. My roots remain intact as a fluent bilingual Romanian speaker and my goal to positively impact student’s lives has become my driving force.
