    This year's One Book One School selection for Van Wyck Junior High School is Wonder by RJ Palacio.
    As a librarian, I read many, many books! Wonder touched a special place in my heart and I thought it would be the perfect
    community read.

    RJ Palacio invites any readers who have been touched by Wonder and its message to take the pledge to "choose kind." Kids, parents, teachers, just sign your name (no last names needed) and join the movement. Commit to choosing to be kind whenever possible. One act of kindness can make someone's day and, indeed, can sometimes change someone's life. Share your stories, if you'd like. Print the "choose kind" certificate and hang it on your wall as a reminder.
