My goal is to teach you the chronological history of the United States from the Civil War to the present day. By the end of the school year, you will be able to demonstrate an understanding of the causes and effects of major events that have shaped America.
Supply List Folder or 3-ring binder Pens and/or pencils Optional: colored pencils, crayons, highlighters Grading Policy Tests/Projects: You will have at least two tests per marking period. Class projects also count as a test grade. Quizzes: You will have one quiz a week. Classwork and Homework: All assigned work will be checked daily. Class Participation: Lateness, class disruptions, and untimely homework can affect your average. Absences: You are required to make up all missed work as soon as possible. If you are absent on the day of a quiz or test, you will take that quiz or test on the day you return. Finally,the most important thing I wish to provide for you is a safe learning environment. I want every student in my class to be able to speak their mind without being criticized. No matter what, I am always here to help you and to take care of you.
