    The 2020-2021 school year will be here before you know it. We are excited to welcome a new group of students into our classrooms.

    It is important to read, read, read! Please read one or more books over summer break. In order to be successful in fifth grade, you must practice your math facts and have your times tables memorized before school begins in September.

     

    • 2 Dual sided, bottom pocket plastic folders Labeled Take Home and Music
    • 2 Inch binder (preferably heavy duty type)
    • 5 Dividers
    • Labeled: Reading, Writing, Math, Soc. Studies, Science
    • 1 Package of wide ruled loose leaf paper
    • 1 Box of Crayons (no more than a 24 count)
    • 1 Box of Markers (assorted colors 10 count)
    • 1 Pair of Scissors
    • 1 Pack of Dry Erase Markers
    • Whiteboard Eraser (old sock works fine)
    • 1 Package of Ticonderoga #2 Pencils
    • 1 Package of Highlighters
    • 1 Package of 3x3 Post-it Notes
    • 1 Plastic Pencil box (8 in. x 5 in)
    • 2 Glue Sticks
    • 2 Boxes of Tissues
    • 1 Hand Held Pencil Sharpener
    • 1 Pair of Headphones in a Ziploc bag labeled with their first and last name (we have found earbuds do not fit comfortably in their ears)
    • Pleasure Reading Novel

    • An 8 oz water bottle and a peanut free non-perishable snack for the Classroom Safety Box
