    Wednesday, December 18th- Day 2- Computer    Winter Mini-Concert 9 a.m. in the Cafetorium.  Please be on time!

    Thursday, December 19th- Day 3- Library-  Please remember to return library book.   

                                                    Build Gingerbread Houses.    Kids can wear their PJ's to school.

    Friday, December 20th-  Day 4   Our Winter Party     Wear an Ugly Sweater / Holiday Hat and Socks

       

    Monday, December 23th-  Wednesday, January 1st-  No School-  Winter Break

     

    Thursday, January 2nd-  Day 5 - School Resumes  Computer

    Oak Grove looks to acknowledge students who are displaying a particular character trait for the month.  December is "Honesty."  We would like to congratulate Besim and Constance from Room 8 who displayed the character trait of "Honesty."  Way to go!!!  Keep up the great work!"   

     

    I would like to thank Mrs. Brinkerhoff and Mr. Muratovic for helping us on "The Nutcracker" trip. 

     

    This is what is happening this week.

    Fundations 1st-  Students will review tapping out and spelling c-v-c words; words with digraphs, words with bonus letters; and words with glued sounds.

    Readerś Workshop-  Students will continue to identify the different features found in non-fiction books.

    Writerś Workshop-  Students will continue to identify and write informational pieces.  

    Math 1st-  Students will demonstrate adding and subtracting within word problems.

    Math 2nd- Students will demonstrate solving two-digit subtraction word problems.

    Social Studies-  Students will continue to identify what makes a family.

    Science-  Students will continue to describe why sounds are different and how they are made.
