Hi, families,
This will be my 26th year teaching at Kinry Road. I taught 6th grade for 22 years and this is my 4th year teaching 3rd grade. :)
I graduated from Mount Saint Mary College with a Bachelor of Science in Education in December of 1998. I'm dually certified in
Elementary and Special Education K-12. I have a Master's Degree in Curriculum from Western Connecticut State University. My
learning continues to grow! I'm always interested in learning new approaches and strategies that will enhance my teaching
and help my students grow in all aspects. My joy of learning will hopefully encourage my students to continue their education,
and to reach any dream or goal that they may have!
I'm also a mom :). I have three sons. Gus attends Marist College, Owen's in 12th grade and Logan is in 9th grade. They keep me very busy! :)
My husband, Tim, is a Physical Education Teacher for the Arlington Central School District. I truly enjoy spending time with my family!!
I believe that there are no limits to an individual's learning experiences. It is especially exciting to be involved with
teaching children because of their instinctive desire to learn. I believe that education should be a meaningful experience. I
would like to work cooperatively with you to make this happen. As a team, your child will have a successful year with exciting
opportunities. I'm very proud to be your child's teacher and I'm looking forward to a wonderful school year!!
