A bit about me...

I am a graduate of the WCSD and have wanted to be a teacher since I was in the 3rd grade. I received my BS in Elementary Education from SUNY Oneonta. I then went on to graduate from West Conn with my MS in Intstructional Technology.

From 1999-2006 I taught 1st grade and kindergarten at Gayhead Elementary in Hopewell Junction . In 2006 I had my first child Ella. I then made the decision to resign and be a stay at home mom.  In 2008 my son Andrew was born . In 2012 when WCSD implemented a full day kindergarten program, I knew it was time for me to return to the career that I loved.

My husband Matt and I live in Hopewell Junction with our children and our amazing rescue pup Carson. Ella is a competative cheerleader for the Infinty AllStars . Andrew loves the theater and acts with a local company Star 2B. He also plays soccer and basketball. These activities keep us very busy! When we DO have a free day we love to take long bike trips on the rail trail or go hiking.

I am very happy to come to school each day. I love teaching and kindergarten is the place for me!
