• September Start-Up Information and Guidelines 

     Beginning of school is always hectic with a lot of information coming home in a few days time.  Below is information to help you get through the first couple of weeks and to help us keep your child(ren) happy, healthy, and safe.
    • Please be sure to check your child's backpack for important information over the next few days.
    • Please be sure to fill out and send back the Emergency Contact Card.  Send back all copies, print firmly, and please do not use pencil, crayon, marker or separate the pages.  Also, please be sure to update us with any phone number changes throughout the year.  Please discuss with your student your emergency dismissal plan that you have written on the Emergency Card so that you child knows what to do in the event of an emergency dismissal.
    • Reminder to all Kindergarteners/new entrants to send in complete and updated Immunizations at the start of school as per New York State Education Law.
    •  Current physicals are required in Kindergarten, First Grade, Third Grade, and Fifth Grade and all new entrants.
    • Any student  taking medication needs to bring in new MD orders in order for us to administer.  All medications, including over-the-counter medications must be brought in by an adult.  Students may not carry medications on the bus or in their possession as it may endanger the welfare of other students.  
    • Absences.  If your child is absent, please call the school and leave a message on the Absentee Line.  Please state your child's name, teacher, and reason for absence.  Upon return to school, you must provide a written note as well.  The school phone number is 897-6800.   .
