    The Fishkill Elementary PTA is a very active non-profit organization. We are a group of parents and staff members working together to promote the welfare and education of our students. The PTA sponsors many educational, enrichment and social events throughout the school year.     What does membership involve?

    Joining the PTA does not commit you to attend every meeting or event. It means that you stand with 6 million other parents and concerned adults to promote the welfare of all children. The membership dues we collect go a long way in supporting our programs, such as Arts in Education, Science Assemblies, Field Trips and Pick a Reading Partner.

     

    Our family is very busy. How can I still help the PTA?

    ·        Join! By joining, you will not only financially support us but you will be able to vote at meetings on issues important to you. You can also take advantage of special discounts and other valuable benefits exclusively for PTA members.

     

    ·    Participate in fundraisers when you can. Every little bit counts!

     

    ·    Volunteer when/if you can. We have many opportunities to help, both in school and at home. Check the PTA announcements and calendar to find something that fits your schedule.

     

    When are PTA meetings?

    Meetings are held most months in the school library. You can even attend virtually! Dates and times are listed on the announcements page, the PTA calendar and school calendar.

     

    Together we are a powerful voice for children. With your help, we can continue to work toward PTA's goal of a quality education and nurturing environment for every child.
